Research direction
Start in the Keyboard Manager new editor and reproduce the old-editor-to-new-editor remapping sequence described in the issue. Compare persistence after deleting remappings in each editor and inspect the attached PowerToysReport ZIP for relevant diagnostics. Done means remappings created with the old editor can be deleted in the new editor and remain deleted after closing and reopening it.
