Description
### Description of the new feature / enhancement
Similar to how shortcut keys are assigned for a Windows shortcut, record the user's keystrokes for key assignment instead of digging through multiple dropdowns. Have the dropdowns as secondary if necessary.
### Scenario when this would be used?
The ability to just key in your wanted keystrokes for the shortcut would make creation 10x easier. It's very clunky navigating multiple dropdowns just to assign keystrokes.

Research direction
Start by reviewing the Keyboard Manager key-assignment interface described in the issue and how its existing dropdown-based assignment works. Compare the desired behavior with Windows shortcut key recording; done means users can enter keystrokes directly for an assignment while the existing dropdowns remain available as a secondary option.
