### Steps to reproduce

Opened my apps
Launched PT Workspace Editor
Captured
checked box for create desktop shortcut and clicked Saved
It appeared to save and returned to the workspace list
inspected my desktop, no new shortcut created
Attempted to launch and it failed with error incorrect file.
I checked the path displayed and there is not .JSON file in the folder where it is looking.
So it appears it is NOT saving and thus not creating a desktop shortcut.

Tried to create BUG REPORT and it stated one was created and on my desktop but there is not bug report to include.

Start in the Workspaces area with the reported reproduction: save a workspace from Workspace Editor with “create desktop shortcut” enabled, then inspect the desktop and launch it. Trace whether the workspace JSON is saved and whether the shortcut points to it; done means a shortcut is created and all defined apps launch successfully.
