Description

### Description of the new feature / enhancement

Hope there can be customizable switches instead of having only one global switch.

### Scenario when this would be used?

I have more than a dozen different mapping schemes, and I hope the current Keyboard Manager can support more granular management. For example, the mapping schemes could be grouped, and each group could have its own on/off toggle.

Research direction

The issue names Keyboard Manager but provides no files, tests, or entry points. Start by locating the existing global enable switch and the mapping schemes, then determine how grouped or independently toggled schemes should be represented. Done means Keyboard Manager supports the requested granular enable controls, but the issue gives no concrete acceptance test.
