Description

### Microsoft PowerToys version

0.97.2

### Installation method

Microsoft Store

### Area(s) with issue?

Awake

### Steps to reproduce

**Awake not working at all when PowerToys isn't elevated.** It apparently shows that that setting has been applied but after some time, it becomes evident that that settings hasn't been applied. (For example, I selected to not close display within an hour, but as usual, after 5 minutes, it closes the display.)

(Again, if I select to elevate PowerToys on its startup, then other functions such as AlwaysOnTop breaks because while being elevated, it can only keep the elevated apps on top.)

### ✔️ Expected Behavior

I was expecting it to work without being elevated, or maybe, the app itself would exclusively elevate it, and preferably, without the UAC prompt.

### ❌ Actual Behavior

The options in the Awake don't work.

Research direction

Start by reproducing Awake on Windows 11 with PowerToys 0.97.2 installed from the Microsoft Store and running without elevation. Compare the selected Awake timeout with the actual display timeout, then verify the behavior when only Awake is elevated rather than the full app. Done means Awake prevents the display from closing without breaking non-elevated utilities such as AlwaysOnTop.
