Description

### Microsoft PowerToys version

vo.97.2

### Installation method

PowerToys auto-update

### Area(s) with issue?

Crop and Lock

### Steps to reproduce

Before when I would use this feature it created a smaller window that was controlled by the app that i cropped from and just that cropped section would update from the actual parent app. Now it closes the app and just puts it into a smaller window. I can not make any changes or updates to the original app like before

### ✔️ Expected Behavior

I expected it to act like it did in previous models: Before when I would use this feature it created a smaller window that was controlled by the app that i cropped from and just that cropped section would update from the actual parent app.

### ❌ Actual Behavior

Now it closes the app and just puts it into a smaller window. I can not make any changes or updates to the original app like before

### Additional Information

windows 11

### Other Software

e-sword bibile app.
restream

Research direction

Start by reproducing the regression in Crop and Lock on Windows 11 using the e-sword Bible app or Restream. Compare the current behavior with the described earlier behavior: the cropped view should remain linked to the parent app so updates and changes are reflected without closing the original app. No file or test is mentioned, so locating the relevant subsystem will require repository research.
