Employment verification rejected — what form of domain ownership document is accepted when the registrar issues none?

Account type: Company, Microsoft Edge program (Partner Center). Extension currently In draft.
Status: Account settings > Legal info > Developer — Vetting status "Rejected"; Employment Verification shows "Pending Partner Action".

I'm not asking for an account review in public — I'm asking about a conflict between the documentation and the upload dialog. I'm happy to supply account specifics through whatever private channel you prefer.

The Resolve dialog asks for an official domain ownership record showing the domain, purchase date, expiration or renewal date, and company name and address, and states that "Self written letters or screenshots are not acceptable forms of documentation and will result in rejection delaying verification."

But "Verify your company account information" lists acceptable Employment verification proof as:

• Assignment letter from an authorized representative of the organization
• Domain ownership records, such as whois (linked to whois.com)
• Domain purchase invoices or registry confirmation records

Those appear to conflict. Both an assignment letter and a whois record seem to be excluded by the dialog's wording, yet both are listed as acceptable in the docs.

My situation: the domain's registrant contact was updated on 7 September 2026 and now matches the company name on my enrollment exactly, with WHOIS privacy disabled, so the current registrant record is publicly verifiable today. My registrar is Amazon Registrar (AWS Route 53), which does not issue domain ownership certificates, and every invoice and registrar email I hold predates that update. ICANN's 60-day post-registrant-change transfer lock prevents me from moving to a registrar that does issue one until roughly 6 November 2026.

Three questions:

1. In what form should a whois-based "domain ownership record" be submitted so that it is not rejected as a screenshot?
2. Does the enrollment stay open if I do not upload by the estimated date shown? I have three appeal attempts and would rather not spend one on a document that may not qualify.
3. Would a registrar-issued domain ownership certificate (for example Cloudflare's) satisfy this requirement?
