Edge Add-ons review delays are a terrible developer experience

Description
Google started reviewing my extension in less than an hour. With Edge Add-ons, I have waited an entire day and the review still has not started.
Frankly, this is ridiculous. The difference in efficiency is embarrassing, and leaving developers waiting without a meaningful update shows little respect for their time.
Please give me a clear answer: when will the review begin, and is anything required from me? If there is a backlog, communicate it. Keeping developers in the dark for an entire day is not good enough.
