Description
Describe the bug
I am trying to register as an Individual Microsoft Edge Add-ons developer in Microsoft Partner Center.
I live in Palestine, but Palestine / Palestinian Authority is not available in the "Account country/region" dropdown during Microsoft Edge Add-ons developer enrollment.
The enrollment page states that the country/region cannot be changed after completing the account information, so I do not want to select an incorrect country.
To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:
- Sign in to Microsoft Partner Center with a personal Microsoft account.
- Start enrollment for the Microsoft Edge Add-ons developer program.
- Select "Individual" as the account type.
- Open the "Account country/region" dropdown.
- Search or scroll through the full country/region list.
- Observe that Palestine / Palestinian Authority is not available.
Expected behavior
Palestine or Palestinian Authority should be available as a valid country/region, or Microsoft should provide an official supported enrollment method for developers residing in Palestine.
Screenshots
I will attach screenshots showing:
- The Microsoft Edge Add-ons enrollment page.
- The Account country/region dropdown where Palestine / Palestinian Authority is missing.
Desktop (please complete the following information):
- OS: Windows 11
- Browser: Microsoft Edge
- Version: [151.0.4129.101]
Additional context
I do not want to select another country because that would provide incorrect account information, and Partner Center states that the country/region cannot be changed after enrollment.
Please advise how a developer residing in Palestine should correctly complete Microsoft Edge Add-ons developer enrollment.
