Description
Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.
I often browse the Microsoft Edge Add-ons website for extensions, especially at night or in low-light environments. The current interface is always bright, which can cause eye strain and discomfort during prolonged use. It also feels inconsistent compared to other platforms that already support dark mode.
Describe the solution you'd like
I would like the Edge Add-ons website to support a dark mode. Ideally, the site should:
- Automatically follow the system or browser theme (light/dark)
- Provide a manual toggle for users to switch themes
Describe alternatives you've considered
I have tried using some browser extensions to force the Edge Add-ons website into dark mode, but they do not work on this site. As a result, I am unable to achieve a consistent dark theme experience.
Additional context
Many modern websites and developer platforms already support dark mode, making it a standard expectation for users. Adding this feature would significantly improve usability and accessibility, especially for users who spend long periods browsing extensions.
