Research direction

Start by reviewing this issue and the linked internal Visual Studio work item to understand when downlevel Visual Studio versions can consume newer System.Text.Json packages. Identify the SDK package references and compatibility checks; done means upgrading to System.Text.Json >= 8.0.5 without breaking SDK package use in supported downlevel Visual Studio versions.
