Research direction
The issue names no files, tests, or entry points. Start by defining how estimates should scale for imports of 1,000, 10,000, and larger numbers of buildings, then account for false positives, skewed angles, and round buildings; done means a documented, honest calculation covering all three cleanup tasks.
Written by the indexing model from the issue text.
