Description

Can we add an experimental feature support option?
E.g. for forthcoming shader model support:
// Enable DX12 Expermintal Features
HRESULT hr = D3D12EnableExperimentalFeatures(
1,
&D3D12ExperimentalShaderModels,
nullptr, nullptr);

Research direction

Start by tracing how DxCapsViewer enumerates DirectX capabilities and where enumeration options are exposed; the issue names no files or tests. Review the D3D12EnableExperimentalFeatures API and the experimental shader-model example, then consider the work complete when the option can report experimental feature support without disrupting normal enumeration.
