Description

It would be useful if there was a method to convert .mini files into .h3d files. The h3d file format spec isn’t publicly available and no modeling software exports to it outside of HyperView; which is also not publicly available without a costly license.

Research direction

Start by locating the MiniEngine ModelData structure and the existing .mini handling. Determine whether the unavailable .h3d specification permits a reliable conversion path; done would mean a documented method that converts ModelData into a valid .h3d file, with validation for the resulting output.
