Research direction

Start by locating every use of m_processedCommandBuffers and its relationship to FrameCount and command-list submission. Check the surrounding sample code for frame synchronization assumptions; done means a maintainer-backed decision on whether the per-frame resources can be simplified, with any required implementation changes identified.
