Description

The ReFS related code is non-atomic. If the CoW code crashes, the real filename with incomplete content will remain. Consider use of a temp file extension like .cowtemp then rename after clone complete.

Research direction

Start by locating the ReFS-related CoW implementation and tracing the crash path during cloning. Use the issue's proposed .cowtemp approach as the target: incomplete content should remain under a temporary name, and the real filename should appear only after cloning completes.
