Description
One requested feature is to be able to send a file (maybe a JSON file) that holds the configuration information of the extension for other people to use. This would be what searches are saved (with display name and top level information).
For doing that, maybe the best way is to stop using SQLite to save the persistent data and change it to a JSON file in the App Data directory.

Research direction
Start by reviewing how the extension currently stores searches and other persistent data in SQLite, including the App Data location. Define the configuration contents and sharing flow before choosing between a JSON file and the existing storage; done means another user can load the shared configuration and recover the saved searches with their display names and top-level information.
