Description

This extension adds elements to the following pages:

  • Bank Account Card
  • Company Information
  • Contact Alt Address
  • Contact Card
  • Customer Bank Account Card
  • Customer Card
  • Employee Card
  • Location Card
  • Resource Card
  • Ship-to-Address
  • Vendor Card

"Ship-to Address" is an alternative delivery address visible on both Sales Quotes and Sales Orders. This can be used for infrequently used delivery addresses for customers.

The idea is to extend the postcode lookup to these pages.

Research direction

Start by reviewing the existing IdealPostcodes extension and the listed Business Central pages, then trace how its postcode lookup is added to page extensions. Check the Sales Quote and Sales Order Ship-to Address pages first. Done means the postcode lookup is available there without regressing the existing supported pages.
