Azure Virtual Desktop Workspace Service

The ability to enable Azure Virtual Desktop within a workspace is a requirement for some customers.

The two scenarios that may be used are:

• Personal desktops with local user profiles.

Acceptance Criteria

• AVD Pooled "Workspace Service" can be deployed into a workspace
• AVD Personal "Workspace Service" can be deployed into a workspace
• Can edit on create and update number of VMs in AVD Pooled "Workspace Service"
• Virtual Desktop "user resource" can be added to AVD Personal "workspace service" and is assigned to the user
• User can connect to pooled desktop or personal desktops and log in with Azure AD account
• Documentation and Workspace Services PR's to Azure TRE repository

The issue names no files, tests, or entry points. Start by reviewing Azure TRE's existing Workspace Services and the linked Azure Virtual Desktop deployment and clipboard documentation. Done means pooled and personal AVD services can be deployed, configured, assigned to users, accessed with Azure AD accounts, and documented.
