Update prompt covers tabs - can we make it a bit more subtle?

Description
Problem
When the update prompt appears it covers the tabs which is annoying
Desired Solution
I'd like the prompt to either move or be a bit more subtle so that it doesn't cover important parts of the UI.

Additional Context
The obvious answer is for me to update, which is what I used to do, but my new company controls all the updates so I'm stuck on an old version until they decide otherwise. This means I'm constantly seeing the update prompt and whilst I appreciate it's necessary, it gets in the way. Even when I had control of my own PC I felt the update prompt was a bit overbearing, especially because of the frequency of updates (which is great of course).
