Research direction

Reproduce the issue in Azure Storage Explorer by copying and deleting one folder and one file, then pasting both into another file share. Start by tracing the paste workflow and activity-log result handling; done means this combined paste reports failure consistently with the single-item cases and the regression is covered by an appropriate test.
