Description

Is it possible to define custom weights to each field rather than them being hard coded?

Defaults

  • Effort To Implement (10%)
  • PO Customer Value (30%)
  • PO Efficiency Trust (20%)
  • PO Portfolio Impact (20%)
  • PO Service Growth (20%)
  • Override (Boolean, adds 10 points if true)

Custom

  • Effort To Implement (15%)
  • PO Customer Value (30%)
  • PO Efficiency Trust (20%)
  • PO Portfolio Impact (15%)
  • PO Service Growth (20%)
  • Override (Boolean, adds 10 points if true)

This would provide some flexibility.

Research direction

Start by locating the WSJF calculation and the hard-coded weight definitions in the TypeScript extension. Determine how custom weights could be configured and stored, then verify that the displayed score uses the configured values while preserving the listed defaults.
