Research direction

The issue does not name a file or test. Start by locating the BPARules date-formatting rules in the repository and inspect how dates are currently rendered. Done means the relevant rule produces an ISO 8601-compatible date format rather than US mm/dd/yyyy output, with existing tests updated or added if the repository provides them.
