Can't log in to Ingress Prime with Google

Ingress revamped their app a bit of time ago and the new one won't let me sign in. It seems to be really similar to #506.

I guess the relevant part is this:

Start by tracing the implementation of com.google.android.gms.auth.api.signin.service.START and reproduce the Ingress Google sign-in flow using the supplied log. Investigate why the service cannot be found; done means Ingress can launch Google sign-in without API_NOT_CONNECTED.
