Description

Google Maps will always stick to the english language, regardless of the language set in the system settings (German in this case).

Tested on both a Samsung Galaxy S5 (LineageOS 16 for microG with ver. 0.2.6.13280) and OnePlus 3T (SkyDragonOS (Android 9) with microG ver. 0.2.8.17785-beta-1 mapbox)

Research direction

The report names no source file, test, or entry point. Start by reproducing the language mismatch with German system settings on an Android device and the reported Google Maps configurations; done means Google Maps respects the system language instead of staying in English.
