Description

Okay, this might get interesting.
I installed overdrop weather app. However, when I got into the location setup section. Automatic doesn't work. And the manual section DOESN'T GET ANY CITIES SHOW UP.

More things is that when I used official GPS it recognised and also show a lot of cities!

Would try to get a logcat later, but for now the problem is the MicroG.

Research direction

Start by reproducing the issue in the Overdrop weather app, checking both automatic and manual location setup. Capture a logcat while automatic location fails and while the manual city list remains empty, then compare with the official GPS behavior. Done means both location selection paths work or the failing MicroG component is identified.
