Description
Hi,
since version 0.2.4-107-g0596d2c, the CPU won't go to Deep Sleep any more, but is kept Active all the time. The version before that did not show that behaviour.
GSam Battery Monitor shows that "MicroG Service Core" may be the root cause, namely its "*sync*/com.android.contatcs/com.google/xxxx@googlemail.com" wakelock, which seems to be active all the time.
I have GAPPS installed, a Google account is configured, but I have turned off all synchronization (calender & news&weather) in the account settings. Note that I do not see a "synchronize contacts" switch in the Google account settings, although both Contacts sync & Calender sync adapter Apps version 5.1-1743759 are installed.
Uninstalling the Contacts sync adapter (which in fact I do not need) does not seem to help.
My device is a Xperia Z1 compact with Android 5.1.1, rooted stock ROM.
Any idea?

Research direction
No source files, tests, or entry points are named. Compare versions 0.2.4-107-g0596d2c and the preceding version, then investigate MicroG Service Core's contacts-sync wakelock on the reported Android 5.1.1 Xperia Z1 Compact; done means the CPU can return to Deep Sleep without the wakelock remaining active.
