Description
Hi! I noticed that in Google Drive, the document scanner feature shows the message:
"Update required to use the scanner."
It appears that Google Drive requires a newer Google Play Services implementation for the scanner feature to work.
On microG 0.3.15.250932, the scanner cannot be used because of this requirement. I tested this on a Huawei MatePad Pro.
Would it be possible to investigate whether this functionality can be supported in a future microG release?
Thank you for your work on microG!

Research direction
Start by reproducing the Google Drive document scanner failure on the reported Huawei MatePad Pro with microG 0.3.15.250932, then identify which newer Google Play Services requirement causes the update message. The issue provides no file or test entry point; done means the scanner works without requesting an unsupported Play Services update.
