Description
**Affected app**
Name: Gmail
Package id: com.google.android.gm
**Describe the bug**
Plain IMAP email accounts do not show in the account switcher.
**To Reproduce**
Steps to reproduce the behavior:
1. Tap profile picture in the top-right to open account switcher
2. Click on 'Add another account'
3. Click on 'Other'
4. Enter your email address from a plain email server, not a common email provider.
5. Go through account setup as usual, enter password, incoming and outgoing email server and successfully add the account.
6. Go back to the account switcher.
7. The account is missing from the account switcher, only Gmail accounts can be accessed.
One can select the account when sending outgoing email, its inbox is mixed into the 'All accounts' view and its emails can be searched from there, but can't actually switch to the account and view its primary inbox and folders.
The account is listed in Gmail settings, however.
**Expected behavior**
That I can select my email in the account switcher and access it like I would any other email account. Adding the same account on two different devices with Play Services generated the expected behaviour, only my own phone with GmsCore is being inconsistent.

**System**
Android Version: 16
Custom ROM: Evolution X 11.6.2-Vanilla
**microG**
microG Core version: 0.3.13.250932 (installed as User App from GitHub releases)
microG Self-Check results: All ticked except for services framework and interact with work profile
**Additional context**
Add any other context about the problem here.
I don't think Services Framework is to blame, it only does cloud messaging and latest google apps shouldn't be relying on it anyways. I couldn't get it installed on Android 16 no matter what I tried.

Research direction
No source file or test is named. Reproduce the issue through Gmail's account switcher using Add another account > Other, then inspect GmsCore logs and the account-related Android entry points involved in the setup. Done means a plain IMAP account appears in Gmail's account switcher with access to its inbox and folders.
