Description

Standoff 2 (Game)
Name: Standoff 2
Package id: com.axlebolt.standoff2

Describe the bug
"Connection failed: Google Play authentification failed"

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Open Standoff 2 Game
  2. Click to your Google Account to login it
  3. And see error

Expected behavior
Sometimes, when I log into this game using my Google account, I encounter the error "Google Play authentification failed". I don't know why this happens, idk but my internet connection is stable. In fact, this error occurs quite frequently, and every ~third time I log into the game I encounter this error. This means that it can happen randomly, preventing me from logging in, or it may not happen at all, depending on my luck. If I get an error, I try to clear the microG and game cache and reboot my phone (sometimes this helps), or I just log in to game later, unfortunately there are no other temporary solution for me. I've been observing this problem for quite some time now (more than a year for sure). Please fix it!

Research direction

No source file, test, or entry point is named. Start by reproducing Google Account login on Android 15 with crDroid 11.10, microG Core 0.3.10.250932, and Standoff 2, then inspect the available authentication failure evidence; done means the reported intermittent Google Play authentication error is resolved and login remains reliable.
