Description

Affected app
Name: Updater

Describe the bug
The update check failed. Please check your internet connection and try again later.

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Go to 'Settings'
  2. Click on 'System'
  3. Scroll down to 'System updates'
  4. press refresh

Expected behavior
Update check should not fail on devices that clearly have internet connection. The browser app is able to download from https://download.lineage.microg.org. I have observed this behavior in coral, payton, and ocean.

Research direction

Start at Settings > System > System updates and review the attached logcat and bugreport for the refresh failure on coral, payton, and ocean. Compare the updater's behavior with the browser download from download.lineage.microg.org. Done means the updater can check for updates successfully on affected devices with an active internet connection.
