Description

Describe the bug
In the WhatsApp app -> Settings -> Account -> Passkeys -> Create Passkey, I clicked the Use current device screen lock option and verified the fingerprint information as required, but was prompted with an offline pop-up window.

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Go to WhatsApp app -> Settings -> Account -> Passkeys -> Create Passkey.
  2. Click on Use this device with screen lock.
  3. Verified the fingerprint information.
  4. Show offline pop-up window.

Expected behavior
It will be the same as the pixel phone, showing the content after the key is successfully created.

Research direction

Start by reproducing the passkey flow on the listed Huawei Mate 60 Pro running HarmonyOS 2.0.0 and Android 12, then trace the Android passkey creation path. No files or tests are named in the issue. Done means creating a passkey with the device screen lock succeeds and shows the expected post-creation content instead of an offline popup.
