Description

Affected app
Name: Google Classroom and Google Calendar
Package id: com.google.android.apps.classroom and com.google.android.calendar

Describe the bug
I'm emrolling in a course which makes use of an administered google account with a custom domain name (ie, not gmail.com). After logging in my work profile, both apps (both installed in the work profile) fail to load their respective content.

Google classroom tells me that I "don't have access to Classroom" and I should "contact the domain administrator" (despite me having joined the classroom via link and the web version working correctly), and refuses to load.

Google Calendar doesn't list the account's calendars (only those of another account with a gmail domain) and when tapping "Update" it just prints an error toaster with "Syncronization error" written on it.

Research direction

No source files, tests, or entry points are named. Start by reproducing the issue with a managed custom-domain account on Android 13 using the reported Classroom and Calendar apps, then compare behavior with the web versions. Done means both apps load the account's content and Calendar synchronization succeeds without errors.
