Getting free Add-Ons in OCTech.Mobile.Applications.OBDLink not working

In the App OBDLink are add-ons that are free or in app purchases, depending on what hardware one bought. I have the hardware where the add-ons are free, but I am not able to get the add-ons.

I have a logcat where it's not working and one (from a device with google and without microg) where it's working.

Start by tracing billing behavior from MainActivity through SettingsActivity and IAPCategoryListViewActivity, using the FakeInAppStore calls in the broken log and the Google Play billing calls in the working log as comparison points. Done should mean hardware-eligible users can obtain the free add-ons when running with microG; no source file or test is named in the issue.
