Description

Affected app
Name: Uber
Package id: com.ubercab

Describe the bug
After completing registration the app is starting with this error:
Uber won't run without Google Play services, which are not supported by your device.

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Start 'Uber' app

Expected behavior
Uber app runs w/o problems.

System
Android Version: 12
Custom ROM: LineageOS 19-20220823-microG-dumpling

microG
microG Core version: 0.2.24.214816
microG Self-Check results: All ticked

Additional information
Several other apps report the same error, e.g. Lyft (me.lvft.android).
I assume this is related to a map required by the apps.

No file, test, or entry point is identified in the issue. Start by reproducing the failure with Uber on the specified LineageOS and microG versions, then determine which Google Play services or maps compatibility behavior causes the error; done means the app starts without the reported message.
