Research direction
No source file, test, or entry point is identified. Start by reproducing the missing direction indicator in Google Maps and Google Earth on Android 11 with the listed microG setup, then compare the observed behavior with the expected screenshot and trace the relevant location implementation. Done means identifying the missing behavior and adding a verified fix or a focused regression test.
