Description
Describe the bug
Browsing into Settings, particularly Devlopers Options, is very sluggish. Has caused the System UI to become unresponsive and soft reboot. The 20210412 build seems particularly worse than the initial 20210404 build, much more unstable. See also bug report at LineageOS. Device maintainer thinks it's related to the MicroG build.
To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:
- Browse Settings
- Go to Developers Options
- Settings/UI is very slow, almost like the settings have not been indexed
Expected behavior
System UI and Settings should not be sluggish and cause a soft reboot.

Research direction
Start by reproducing the slowdown in Android Settings, especially Developer Options, on the 18.1-20210412-microG-shamu build. Inspect logcat.zip, logcat2.zip, and bugreport-shamu-RQ2A.210405.005-2021-04-18-13-10-50.zip, then compare behavior with the 20210404 build. Done means identifying a reproducible cause and preventing the Settings/System UI slowdown and soft reboot.
