Description

Is it possible to change the installed version of GmsCore? I've flashed an unofficial build of LineageOS + MicroG from here but the signature doesn't match that of the MicroG F-Droid repo.

Research direction

The issue names no files, tests, or entry points. Start by tracing how GmsCore installation sources and package signatures are handled for Android builds, then determine whether changing the installed version for an unofficial LineageOS + MicroG build is supported; done should be a clear compatibility answer or a defined implementation plan.
