Description

Description

All modern terminals already support the OSC 52. So it's about time to stop expecting something like xcut is installed in the system.
OSC 52 also work over SSH on remote PC.

Basically make the config "clipboard": "terminal" the new default

Research direction

Start by locating the clipboard configuration and the existing copy/paste implementation, especially the handling of "clipboard": "terminal" and third-party tools such as xcut. Confirm how OSC 52 should be emitted in local and SSH sessions; done means terminal-based OSC 52 clipboard handling is the default without requiring external tools.
