Description
I moved from Linux to MacOS (not by choice) and even after 1 month, I still cannot build ANY muscle memory for basic text editing at all. While trying to understand why, I found out that micro has pretty unusual keyboard bindings by default.
I understand that Terminal or iTerm is intercepting those keyboard bindings, but even then I need some documentation to make me a proper setup:
- How can I set things up to be able to update the selection?
- is there a preferred terminal emulator? iTerm?
- Is there a way to better integrate with the clipboard?
(I opened a similar issue for Kate: https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=499197 )

Research direction
Review the existing micro documentation for macOS, terminal or iTerm setup, selection editing, and clipboard integration. Check whether these topics are already documented and identify where guidance could be added. Done means providing clear setup guidance that addresses the listed questions without relying on an unanswered discussion.
