Description

Description of the problem or steps to reproduce

When i am connecting via ssh to server (ex. Centos 7), and try to paste in micro editor with Ctrl+v, are not working, i have read about this. Now i can paste with Shift+ Insert or Ctrl+Shift+V, and finaly was pasted. But if i am copying few line like (nginx.conf), it are pasting all text in 1 line. And how to paste if i was copied few lines, paste the same ?

And how to copy from micro editor in outside of microeditor, nothing are not working Ctrl-c and Ctrl-shift-c also are not working ?

Is awesome editor, if you help me with this, i will be grateful.

Research direction

Start by reproducing the SSH paste and copy behavior using the listed Windows and Ubuntu setups with an xterm terminal. Trace the terminal input and clipboard handling involved, and consider the issue done when multiline paste preserves line breaks and copy/paste behavior is clearly handled in both directions.
