Research direction

Start by reproducing CTRL+Q in micro 2.0.8 at commit cfcb2e45 on Debian Linux under WSL, recording the terminal details and comparing it with the other exit command. Done means the reported exit shortcut works or the issue is narrowed to a documented terminal or platform condition.
