Description
Description of the problem or steps to reproduce
Commit d1e713ce08ba15a59b62207109b4d6bca46c7a9f changed matchbrace to underline instead of highlight matching braces. This may be preferable aesthetically, but is less immediately visible. Please consider adding a toggle to switch back to the highlighting.

Research direction
Start by tracing the matchbrace behavior introduced in commit d1e713ce08ba15a59b62207109b4d6bca46c7a9f and locate the existing configuration or option handling. Add a user-selectable toggle for highlighting matching braces, then verify that both highlighting and underlining work as intended on the reported macOS and terminal setup.
