Description
Description of the problem or steps to reproduce
Copy-paste between different instances of micro and micro and terminal is broken. On a local machine, w/out redefining terminal shortcuts, w/ xsel, xclip and the latest versions (2.0.3-2.0.8) of micro installed, w/ and w/out the "clipboard": "external" setting. When running ver. 2.0.8 w/ xsel, xclip and "clipboard": "external", I get System clipboard not found, install xclip/xsel or change 'clipboard' option. Copy-paste w/ mouse selection works (but is quite useless on account of including line numbers)
Specifications
The affected system is xfce4-terminal 0.8.9.2 on Debian GNU/Linux bullseye/sid (Linux 5.9.0-1-amd64 SMP Debian 5.9.1-1 x86_64). By comparison, it's working w/ micro 2.0.3 (f594686) and xfce4-terminal 0.8.7.4, xsel and xclip on Xubuntu 18.04.4 LTS (Linux 4.15.0-112-generic Ubuntu SMP x86_64)

Research direction
Start by reproducing the failure with micro 2.0.8, xfce4-terminal, xsel or xclip, and the "clipboard": "external" setting on Debian. Compare behavior with micro 2.0.3 and the working Xubuntu setup described in the report. Done means clipboard detection and copy-paste work between micro instances and between micro and the terminal without requiring mouse selection.
