Description
I see that one can resize the splits in a tab by dragging them with the mouse, but are there any commands or keybindings that can do it? I can't find a command nor plugin that would currently support that, nor can I see an appropriate keybind action for it.
If there are none, I would like to request that there be commands and bindable actions, perhaps akin to those in tmux.

Research direction
Start by tracing the existing mouse-drag behavior for resizing splits and the command and keybinding registration points. Compare the requested controls with tmux's resize commands, then define the desired bindable actions and verify that each can resize the relevant split through the terminal editor.
