Description

Searching only finds exact matches. Is it possible to make it ignore upper/lower case?

For example ctrl+F and search phrase: el will not find anything which says El.

Is there a way to change default behaviour?

Research direction

Start at the Ctrl+F search handling and trace how the entered search phrase is compared with editor text. Define done as searches for a phrase such as “el” also matching “El” by default, then verify the behavior in the terminal editor's search flow.
