Internal issue 2741 - Top Nav Version - add link

Hi, it would be great to be able to add a link to the version chip in the top nav. I’d like to use this to be able to make the chip clickable so it can navigate to the changelog for my site (either a page on my site or hosted externally).

As well as the link, perhaps a tooltip on hover could be useful to give more context that the chip is a link and where it will take the user

I currently cannot see a way to do this, as there is no slot and the prop itself only accepts a string.

Start by locating the top-navigation version-chip component and reading how its current string prop is exposed. Check any nearby component tests or examples; done should include a configurable internal or external link and clear hover context for the destination.
