large file copying is 10x as slow as native Windows

Description
using fman on a very powerful windows 10 machine used for video editing and when I want to copy a large batch of videos between folders, it takes minutes to do what windows file explorer does in seconds. Sadly makes an otherwise very promising program near useless.
