Description
After working in fman for several hours, simple things like tabbing between panes, moving up/down the directory tree, and opening the command palette begin to have noticeable delays.
It may just be coincidence, but performance seems inversely proportional to memory usage. Initial usage is <40MB. I start to notice sluggishness when usage is ~70MB. When it reaches ~100MB I tend to close and re-open. It's still usable at that point but 1sec delays are fairly common.
Is there anything I can do to troubleshoot?
Specs: Win7 64-bit, i5-6600K, 16GB
I should point out that I use a few personal plugins. I can put them in a gist if requested.

Research direction
No files, tests, or entry points are identified. Start by reproducing the slowdown after several hours on Windows 7 while monitoring memory, first disabling the personal plugins to isolate their impact. Done means identifying the cause of the increasing delays and documenting a verified fix or actionable diagnosis.
