Description

Would be great to have a command to extract several archives. I.e.:

  1. Select several archives.
  2. Open command palette.
  3. Select the new option "Extract archives".

All archives extracted to the directory in the opposite pane.

Research direction

The issue names no files or tests. Start by locating the command-palette actions and the existing single-archive extraction entry point, then trace how selected items and the opposite pane are handled. Done means a new “Extract archives” command extracts every selected archive into the opposite pane’s directory.
